Zetadex-25 fine desalting resin is a beaded composite size-exclusion gel developed by emp BIOTECH composed partially of cross-linked dextran. It exhibits high selectivity, high resolution and chemical stability.

Zetadex-25 fine can be used for

• routine desalting and buffer exchange
• small to medium volume protein and nucleic acid samples
• gravity flow, or low pressure systems

Molecules purified with Zetadex-25 ffine are separated according to size. Smaller molecules pass significantly slower through the column than larger molecules. Buffer and pH effects on resolution are minimal.

The size exclusion cut-off for Zetadex-25 fine is set at 5 kD for proteins and 10 bp for nucleic acids. Purified biomolecules are not significantly diluted when processed using Zetadex-25 fine.
