The sampling is accurate and precise via a volume-defined method that eliminates the need for traditional pipetting. The kit is designed for accurate quantification of 2×10 μl of the blood. Most of the conventional dried blood spot tests allow for qualitative or semiquantitative analysis, but Capitainer’s sampling kits can be used for quantitative clinical tests.
The tests have integrated successful sampling indicators. They also have a built-in drying space which reduces the time necessary to prepare the sample and enables the sample to be sent for analysis right away – as effortlessly as sending a regular mail. In addition to the sampling kits, we offer Capitainers Semi-Automated Puncher. It enables the automation of sample processing. To reduce the manual sampling errors, the sample barcodes are scanned and stored, and the process is optically monitored to ensure the correct placement of the sample.
